Living Geometry

Living Geometry  was built for the group show Gimme' Shelter at Byrdcliffe Art Guild in 2013. The theme of the show was about shelter, structures, and homes.  Modular homes are a large part of the housing market. Living Geometry addresses the modular while making a structure that is more monument than shelter. The modular pyramid is associated with Sol LeWitt's sculptures and writing which sought to remove the artists hand from a work. But this sculpture is imperfect, full of evidence of its construction by workers. This monument is dedicated to labor.
